Stop trading
numbers. Start
building resolution.

When parties begin miles apart, traditional mediation can turn into hours of symbolic bargaining. Our process has a different goal: a formal, confidential mediator's proposal at the end of the day — so you leave with an informed path forward instead of another round of brackets.

Move Beyond Positional Bargaining

Avoid spending the day making symbolic moves when the gap is enormous.

Evaluative Conversation First

Candid evaluative discussion of risk, proof, and value

Formal Proposal at the End

Leave the five-hour mediation with a confidential mediator's proposal

Mediator facilitating a professional dispute resolution session

Trained by New York's Top Mediators

15+ Years Exclusive Employment Law Experience

Cyrus E. Dugger provides alternative dispute resolution mediation services for employment discrimination and wage and hour matters. A graduate of NYU School of Law, a JAMS Diversity Fellow, and a graduate of the EDNY's inaugural Pilot Mediator Incubator, he is intimately familiar with the NYCHRL, FMLA, disability accommodations, and independent contractor misclassification—the exact disputes where a written resolution delivers the most value.

He serves on the mediation panels of the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York. His philosophy is that parties who are genuinely heard and treated with empathy, while also being given objective feedback on their case, are frequently able to resolve employment disputes. Every mediation ends with a confidential mediator's proposal so the parties can focus on discussing the substance of their case during the mediation session instead of trading numbers back and forth that often antagonize the other side and get in the way of a final resolution.
